On Mondays at Roy’s dining, they offer a $49.95 dining special which includes any entree, appetizer, and dessert. It used to be $40, but recently bumped it up. The tip is to go to Costco to buy a dining gift certificate for $79.95 worth $100.

I had the grilled filet mignon, togarashi spiced lobster tail and the grilled salmon. The filet was cooked correctly to a medium, but the cut I had was very tough and chewy. Very unusual for a filet. The lobster might not have been fresh due to the fact that it was not firm. Fresh lobster are supposed to be firm. The salmon was way overcooked and dry. Quite difficult to eat. The item that really pushed me over the edge, that made me so disappointed in the fact that this was high end, Asian fusion restaurant, was the furikake rice that the served on the side with the salmon. It was so overcooked, almost inedible and incredibly mushy. How can such a simple food item be ruined?

Although the items I ordered were not the best, their other dishes were excellent. The sampler of szechuan ribs, spicy tuna rolls, lobster pot stickers, and crispy crispy spring rolls were great. All five star worthy items.
